Bylaws Committee

This committee is responsible for periodically reviewing and recommending amendments to the Bylaws of the Association.

Delegate Conference Committee

This committee prepares a program for the Annual Delegate Conference, secures lodging for Delegates and guests, and validates the credentials on all of the Delegates.

Disciplinary Committee

This committee will review and investigate any written allegations against any member of a local chapter, a chapter in good standing, or officers or members of the State Board.

Finance Committee

This committee will establish an annual budget for the Association and present for approval at the Annual Delegate Conference. This committee also reviews the current budget on a quarterly basis for potential modifications.

Legislative Committee

This Committee shall support legislation favorable and oppose legislation unfavorable to the Association by participating in the legislative process, to include working legislators to prepare bill drafts favorable to the Association, attending and testifying at various legislative committee meetings, reviewing and making recommendations to the State Board concerning b ills that may impact the Association and its members.

Nominating Committee

This committee seeks out nominations for candidates for each elective office and without limitation to the number of nominees. This committee is responsible for creating, distributing, collecting, securing and tallying ballots and reporting the results to the Delegate body.

Organization Committee

This committee assists in all aspects of increasing Chapter membership.

Personnel Committee

This committee receives and reviews all applications for potential paid staff members to narrow the field of applicants for interview by the State Board. The committee also periodically reviews the job performance of all paid staff.

Public Relations Committee

This committee is responsible for enhancing the public as well as internal image of the Association through verbal and written communication with Local Chapters and other entities which have interests similar to the Association and are not in direct conflict with its purpose.
